Hi all!!!! a big big plus ridiculously sloppy hug and hand shake for all who have seen/supported/smelled/envisioned/touch/kenna touched during the concert!!!
This is a simple compilation for the videos that were shown during the concert, cause they are so good and deserves more air time!!! Would like to thank NTUSD, SMUSD, NYPSD, RPSD and NUSSD for their hours of hard work and many many revisions made in order to produce the footages.
I’m missing on SMU’s upload on youtube because their file size is way too big, other than that… here’s the rest of the clips!

Looking around the area, Tom asked Dick. “Hey, did you know that switching off the power supply when you leave your house could save 15% of energy consumption?”
Dick replied, “Duh, Did you know that the average person generates 1/4 tonne of rubbish a year?”
Tom said, “Nooo waaaaay! Did you know how much plastic toys we throw away a year?”
And at this moment, Harry walks past and wonder what his 2 friends are blabbering about, ah yes.. they were confronting each other with random facts and getting quite excited about who knows more. “Hey guys, did you know that there is something we amiss in the air around?”
Oh yes, the annual haze is back surrounding the town. “Huh? I don’t know…. its not like its something we can do about.” Tom and Dick says.
Well more dangerous than playing with swords, ignorance takes the whole cake, its like smoking next to someone topping up his methane tank and stubbing the cigarette on the tank surface. But what causes ignorance? Is it ourselves turning a blind eye and taking a “it’s not my problem” outlook? Or do we not actively seek out solutions?
Anne Marie, the Queen of France during the French Revolution was said to have angered the people of the nation in a response to the then wide spread poverty due to high taxes. She was widely quoted to having said “No bread? then let them eat cake.”
Well this may not be true/exact words, but the truth is when a government ignores or doesn’t understand the situation of its citizens, the ordinary person would sure to suffer.
Miss South Carolina gives us an example of “Why Education is important to battle Ignorance”
Hi all!! just to get you started and thinking, first you might notice that the topic is rather open ended, and it’s up to you to come up with whatever you want to portray of the topic. So there are couple of questions you might want to think about that will enable a more focus approach to the filming.
Which aspect of the topic do you want to portray? eg. Issues? people’s perception to the topic? world/local efforts
Decide on a storyboard. You got to have a rough guide how to go about shooting.
Seek opinions and advise, your seniors in faith is a good place to start!
Below is one of my favourite styles of portraying a subject. The video just goes on based on photos and some music, which could easily be redirected to show only photos of the topic. In which you will probably need a team of photographers. Shots are made by a lomo.

I CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
So the spaceman landed on the moon, thud and with minimal effort bounced in mid air for a while before landing on his other foot and that was to eventually become known as space walking. That single step was made not by a thousand people, but by a single person and once television worldwide shows it, the whole world starts to believe. That what was impossible before could be overcome.
Likewise, the world today faces many challenging issues and it is very easy to get suck into this whirlpool of confusion and downward spiral resulting in endless waste of precious resources.
Now, as we all know combating the effects have already taken place with many organizations pooling together money and manpower to research and undo the damages. But what really is critical here are the ordinary people and their lifestyles/attitudes/beliefs. They need to know and trust that in some immeasurable way, their actions gives others strength and example to follow. In good time, a culture will build up.
::WHY?:: We want to incorporate a social theme into our concert this year.
This theme is based on the idea “The World is Yours’ to Change”,
taken off a book by Daisaku Ikeda. Using this theme, we want to:
Raise awareness of social issues (both global and local) to our youths and
Empower our youths to do something through their own actions
to improve the situation
